Saludos amigos de la comunidad Hivediy, un gusto saludarles, espero se encuentren bien, por acá el día un poco lluvioso, me encuentro en casa descansando ya que hoy no me tocó ir al trabajo, así que aproveché el día para ponerme a acomodar las cosas de la universidad ya que próximamente me toca volver.
Greetings, friends of the Hivediy community! It’s a pleasure to say hello, and I hope you’re all doing well. It’s a bit of a rainy day here; I’m at home resting since I didn’t have to go to work today, so I took the opportunity to get my university things organized, as I’ll be heading back soon.
Revisando mi cartuchera, encontré un clip que me regaló mi hermana, me encanta porque es en tamaño grande así que puede abarcar una gran cantidad de hojas, sin embargo pensé en darle un toque personal y pensé en decorarlo con limpiapipas.
While going through my pencil case, I found a paperclip my sister had given me; I love it because it’s large and can hold a lot of sheets together. However, I decided to add a personal touch by decorating it with pipe cleaners.
Así que realicé una fresita de limpiapipas más una flor y que bien ha quedado, a continuación les muestro los materiales y el paso a paso, es súper fácil, hay muchas figuras que pueden hacer para decorarlos.
So, I made a little pipe-cleaner strawberry and a flower, and they turned out great; below, I’m showing you the materials and the step-by-step process. It’s super easy, and there are many shapes you can make to decorate them.

El primer paso que vamos a realizar será seleccionar el color del limpiapipas a utilizar, en mi caso elegí el rojo, al principio pensé en rosado pero siento que este tono es más llamativo.
The first step is to select the color of the pipe cleaner to use; I chose red—I initially considered pink, but I feel this shade is more eye-catching.
Ahora vamos a tomar un limpiapipas rojo, vamos doblar una de las puntas y unimos formando una especie de círculo, ahora vamos a moldear con nuestros dedos, en la parte superior debe quedar más ancho y en la parte inferior más fina.
Now, take a red pipe cleaner, bend one of the ends, and join them to form a sort of circle; then, shape it with your fingers so that the top part is wider and the bottom part is narrower.
Con el limpiapipas sobrante voy a realizar un pequeño circulo en el centro, vamos a tomar un segundo limpiapipas lo unimos al circulo y comenzamos a cubrir del lado derecho, solo debes ir dando vueltas y en cada una pasar el limpiapipas a través del círculo.
Using the leftover pipe cleaner, I’m going to make a small circle in the center; then, we’ll take a second pipe cleaner, attach it to the circle, and start covering the right side—simply wrap it around, passing the pipe cleaner through the circle with each turn.
Cuando termines de cubrir ese lado se repite el mismo paso con un tercer limpiapipas. Verás como toma forma, el limpiapipas que sobra lo vamos a unir y cortar.
Once you finish covering that side, repeat the same step with a third pipe cleaner. You will see it taking shape; we will join and trim the remaining pipe cleaner.
Ahora vamos a tomar un limpiapipas verde realizamos tres dobles para formar la hoja, para esta parte puedes rebajar la pelusa con un encendedor, cortamos y pegamos sobra la fresa, para decorarla vamos a pegar cinco cuentas de color blanco.
Now, take a green pipe cleaner and make three folds to form the leaf; for this part, you can singe off the fuzz with a lighter. Then, cut it and glue it onto the strawberry, and to decorate it, glue on five white beads.
Luego con limpiapipas blanco vamos a realizar una flor pequeña de color blanco utilizando la técnica del lapicero, en el centro colocamos un círculo de color amarillo. Ahora vamos recortar una pieza de foami del tamaño del clip pero solo de la parte superior, pegamos.
Por último ubicamos la fresa y flor pegamos con silicón y listo, de esta forma terminé de personalizar este clip, pasando de ser sencillo a uno más colorido, espero les haya gustado el resultado, muchas gracias por el apoyo y por visitar mi publicación, nos vemos en una próxima oportunidad con más ideas creativas.
Next, using a white pipe cleaner and the pen-wrapping technique, we’ll make a small white flower and place a yellow circle in the center. Now, we’ll cut a piece of craft foam to match the size of the clip—covering only the top section—and glue it in place.
Finally, we position the strawberry and the flower, glue them down with hot glue, and that’s it! I’ve finished customizing this clip, transforming it from a plain one into something more colorful.
