Desde muy pequeña siempre me gustó la música, ya que veía en ella una forma de expresar lo que sentía; con el apoyo y la ayuda de mis padres tuve la oportunidad de participar en concursos infantiles y de ser integrante de un coro infantil, en el que pasé los mejores momentos de mi niñez.

My name is María Karla and I would like to introduce myself.
I am a Cuban flautist and singer currently living in the province of Guantánamo, which is affectionately called "el Guaso." From a very young age, I always liked music, as I saw in it a way to express what I felt; with the support and help of my parents, I had the opportunity to participate in children's competitions and to be a member of a children's choir, where I spent the best moments of my childhood.
Estudié Flauta en una Escuela de Música de mi ciudad la cual me dió la oportunidad de ver y de sentir la música desde un ámbito más profesional hasta que me gradué y comencé a vivir "mi propia historia".
Hoy en día, creo que estoy muy lejos de donde quiero estar realmente, pero estoy disfrutando mi juventud, mi proceso, sintiendo y expresándome con la música como aquella niña del pasado, pero que aún vive dentro de mi, y es precisamente lo que quiero lograr dentro de Hive Web3, que las personas sientan lo mismo que yo siento cuando hago música, y más siendo cubana y heredera de una gran cultura.
I studied Flute in the Music School of my city which gave me the opportunity to see and feel music from a more professional perspective until I graduated and began to live "my own story."
Today, I believe I am very far from where I really want to be, but I am enjoying my youth, my process, feeling and expressing myself with music like that girl from the past, who still lives within me, and this is precisely what I want to achieve within Hive Web3, that people feel the same as I feel when I make music, and even more so being Cuban and heir to a great culture.
