Durante su niñez Javier y Maria jugueteaban por grandes extensiones de tierra, lugar donde sus padres trabajaban, donde predominaba lo verdes y natural, existían sembradíos de muchos productos para su consumo. Ambas familias vivían del cultivo de las tierras. Ellos disfrutaban a lo grande de ese bello y extenso paisaje. Sus padres eran los mejores amigos y vivían muy cerca las familias.

Javier y Maria eran inseparable, se llevaban muy bien apenas eran unos niños de 8 y 7 años respectivamente. Disfrutaban bañarse en el río y nadaban como unos pececitos. Así pasaron muchos años jugando y divirtiéndose. Ya contaban con 14 años Javier y Maria con 13 años prácticamente unos adolescentes.

Un día cuando se dirigían a los sembradíos de maíz tropezaron con un palito que tenia forma de un ser humano con dos largas crinejas y unos ojos grandes color marrón, con largas pestañas y boquita aterciopelada . Llamó la atención de ambos. Y sintieron empatia con ese ser que encontraron y lo llamaron ojitos de parapara. Era tan expresivo y cual fue su mayor sorpresa que ese palito tenia vida y hablaba. Y Les dijo:

Conversaron por largo tiempo de sus anécdotas universitarias. Ya se hacia de noche cuando en la oscuridad observaron un palito con unos ojos saltones y resplandecientes, que alumbraban más que la luna. Era ojitos de parapara que sintió su presencia y relato que:
