[Writing Contest] Finish the Tale. Story #33// Who is he(ENG-ESP)
Greetings to all of you who, like every week, read my stories created for this contest. Here's my newest creation.
The letter arrived with no return address and only three words: Don't trust him.
Mariana felt a chill run through her body; she was just starting a new relationship with a man she met at a seminar on environmental stewardship.
Who could have written that letter? What could it mean? Who is Alberto really?
These were questions that kept buzzing around in my head like birds demanding freedom in a cage.
Right then and there, I decided to visit him at his house. We usually meet at mine, so I was practically unfamiliar with his home and habits. I wanted to surprise him, so I didn't announce my arrival.
I rang the doorbell, and no one answered. I looked through his window, and there he was, having a very intimate conversation with a girl. I left suddenly without making any more noise.
Two days passed without even receiving a call. To calm my anger, I turned on the television and there she was on a news channel, the same woman I had previously seen at Alberto's house, found murdered with a note next to her that said: You're next.

La carta lleg贸 sin remitente y con solo tres palabras: No conf铆es en 茅l.
A Mariana le recorri贸 un escalofr铆o por todo el cuerpo, justamente estaba iniciando una nueva relaci贸n con un hombre que conoci贸 en un seminario relacionado con el cuidado medioambiental.
驴 Qui茅n habr谩 escrito esa carta? 驴 Qu茅 querr谩 decir?驴Qui茅n ser谩 Alberto en realidad?
Eran preguntas que no dejaban de revolotear en mi cabeza como p谩jaros exigiendo libertad dentro de una jaula.
En ese mismo instante decid铆 ir a visitarlo a su casa, la mayor铆a de las veces siempre nos damos cita en la m铆a, as铆 que pr谩cticamente no conoc铆a su vivienda y costumbres. Quer铆a sorprenderlo, por lo que no anunci茅 mi llegada.
Toqu茅 el timbre y nadie respondi贸, me asom茅 por su ventana y ah铆 estaba 茅l, conversando con una chica de forma muy 铆ntima. Me march茅 de repente si hacer m谩s ruido.
Pasaron dos d铆as sin siquiera recibir una llamada, para calmar mi enfado, prendo la televisi贸n y ah铆 estaba en un canal de noticias, la misma mujer que anteriormente vi en la casa de Alberto, encontrada asesinada y al lado suyo una nota que dec铆a: Eres la siguiente.
