Hoy quiero compartir con ustedes mi más reciente tarea creativa, la restauración de unos hermosos adornos de cocina con forma de conejo.

Today I want to share with you my most recent creative task, the restoration of some beautiful kitchen decorations in the shape of a rabbit.

Esta idea surgió cuando me hallaba limpiando el depósito de mi casa y encontré estos bonitos adornos con forma de conejo que mi madre había comprado hacía ya mucho tiempo en unas ferias confieso que lo primero que pensé fue en tirarlos en cuanto los vi ya que note que no se encontraban en muy buen estado esteticamente hablando.

This idea came up when I was cleaning the storage room of my house and I found these pretty rabbit-shaped ornaments, which my mother had bought a long time ago at some fairs. I confess that the first thing I thought of was throwing them away as soon as I saw them since note that they were not in very good condition aesthetically speaking.

Pero me detuve ya que pensé porque tirarlos cuando los daños eran mínimos y todavía reparables, porque no mejor restaurarlos para que puedan adornar mi cocina solo que esta vez con algunos detalles diferentes al diseño original ya que quería adaptarlo a mi estilo.

But I stopped because I thought why throw them away when the damage was minimal and still repairable, why not restore them so they can adorn my kitchen, only this time with some details different from the original design since I wanted to adapt it to my style.

Ya que debemos recordar que la mayor parte del tiempo todo tiene una solución y que no porque algo tenga un aspecto algo abandonado o sucio significa que ya no tiene valor o utilidad ya que si utilizamos creatividad e ingenio hasta el objeto más simple puedo convertirse en un precioso adorno que destaque y emvellezca tu hogar únicamente tenemos que ser ingeniosos y utilizar lo que tenemos a la mano.

Paso 1

Tomé los conejos y procedí a remover la pintura antigua con ayuda de una lija.

I took the rabbits and proceeded to remove the old paint with the help of sandpaper.

Imite el proceso en los 3 conejitos de la siguiente manera.

Imitate the process on all 3 bunnies as follows.

Paso 2

Luego procedí a pintar el primer conejo de un color blanco tuve que aplicar dos capas para que se viera bien.

I then proceeded to paint the first rabbit a white color I had to apply two coats to make it look good.

Pará luego pintar los demás conejos y luego proceder pintarle las orejas primero el contorno luego dentro.

To then paint the other rabbits and then proceed to paint the ears first the outline then inside.

Paso 3

Cuando ya les había hecho las orejas procedí a pintar con cuidado los ojos y luego retocar el interior.

When I had already made the ears I proceeded to carefully paint the eyes and then touch up the interior.

Después le hice la nariz y pinte de un tono rosa claro, luego me dispuse a pintar la parte de abajo de un color verde hoja que sería el césped en donde estarían parados los conejitos.

Then I made the nose and painted it a light pink tone, then I started to paint the bottom part a leaf green color that would be the grass where the bunnies would be standing.

Paso 4

Finalmente cuando ya se habían secado bien procedí a agregar los detalles finales dibujando con mucho cuidado las palabras correspondientes a cada conejito.

Finally, when they had dried well, I proceeded to add the final details, carefully drawing the words corresponding to each bunny.

¡¡Y LISTOOO!! tenemos un hermoso adorno complemente adorable que le dará un toque delicado y hermoso a tu cocina recordemos que si tenemos objetos viejos debemos chequear su estado antes de tirarlos porque si su único problema son pequeños detalles físicos se pueden reparar y darle un uso diferente lo único que debemos hacer es dejar volar nuestra creatividad e ingenio ya que todo es posible siempre y cuando se tenga interés y amor, por lo que estamos haciendo y nunca debemos desanimarnos si al principio no queda perfecto ya que a veces en lo simple se halla la belleza espero les haya gustado esta sencilla pero hermosa artesanía.
