Katherine was 20 years old when she left home, she felt that her mother wanted to dominate and control every decision she made, "I will live with my boyfriend and together we can get ahead without the restrictions and manipulations of my mother", but her mother Cindy had only wanted Katherine resumed her studies, found a job and left her unbridled and uncontrolled life, but this alone ignored the calls of attention from her mother becoming more and more involved in her rebellion. It had been a year since Katherine had left home and she was not talking to her mother, while Cindy was devastated by her departure, but she did not lose hope of having her daughter reconsider, so she sent her a letter every month asking him to come back, but Katherine was filled with rage when she received them, she thought that she was just trying to manipulate her again so she would throw away each letter immediately without even reading them.
Two years passed when Katherine found herself living alone, because her boyfriend had left her, there she was alone without work and without money, Katherine understood that she had only made bad decisions, she had placed all her trust in the wrong people, while at her mother (the only person who really cared about her well-being) had only mistreated her, saddened she decided to go home and ask for forgiveness; "Before I go to look for work," he thought, "so I can show my mom that I'm really sorry and I'm not going back to be a burden, but to help her", then I take the newspaper to look for announcements of job offers, while I was passing the pages ran into a story that froze her heart, Cindy's coworkers had posted a note of condolence in her name, her mother had died, Katherine fell to the floor, she had no chance to make amends with her mom, was full of anger, sadness, frustration, anger, wrapped in confusion, pain and despair decided to take his own life, I look for a rope and moving the table from which I thought jump, I see on one of the legs of the same envelope with the letter Cindy, it was one of her mother's letters that had fallen under the table and of which she had not seen before, Katherine opened the letter and began to read:
"My beloved daughter,
Probably this is the last letter I can send you, as I have written to you before I have been very sick, last week the doctor told me that I had little time to live, so I ask my beloved daughter to please give me these last days with you, I do not want to pressure you or feel again that I try to manipulate you, I will understand if you prefer not to return. I do not want to make you sad either, apparently my time here is over, but I've prayed so much to God for you to take care and guide you, I know He will do it because He loves you so much more than me, please obey Him in everything and never get away of your way, as far as you are not sad, my beautiful, it is true I will not be able to return to you, but if you seek God and you stand firm, one day you can go where I am going ... .. "
Katherine felt something strange in her heart, in that moment she needed God, she knelt hastily and with tears of repentance she approached Him, a peace came to her interior, and she understood that she could not do anything to make her mother come back , but now I was sure that one day I would go to where she is now.

God processes our hearts through suffering, not to punish us, but to make us understand and save us from our ignorance, the Lord does not want anyone to die, but everyone to repent and accept the sacrifice that our Lord Jesus made on the cross .
