Aunque no soy fanática del fútbol me gusta ver los mundiales y ya con el de este año son 6 pero esta vez es diferente, pues, me encuentro en otro país, uno que está participando por la copa y la experiencia de vivir este mundial ha sido increíble.

Although I’m not a soccer fan, I enjoy watching the World Cup—this is my sixth one—but this time is different; I’m in another country, one that is competing for the cup, and the experience of living through this World Cup has been incredible.

Ya van 3 partidos de Brasil en la copa hasta ahora y todos han sido emocionantes, uno más que el anterior y para cada uno de esos partidos nos hemos preparado en mi trabajo ofreciendo diferentes opciones de dulces decorados con los colores de Brasil.

Brazil has played three matches in the cup so far, and they've all been exciting, each one more so than the last. At my job, we've been preparing for each match by offering different options of sweets decorated with Brazil's colors.

Aqui les muestro lo que hemos hecho hasta ahora y son mini naked con masa de color verde, rellenos de brigadeiro amarillo y brigadeiro azul con granulado azul, una verdadera ternura de dulce con los colores de la bandera brasileña.

Here's what we've made so far: mini naked cakes with green dough, filled with yellow and blue brigadeiro and blue sprinkles—a truly adorable treat in the colors of the Brazilian flag.

Tambien hicimos unos bolos (tortas) de chocolate cubiertas con crema amarilla y verde que quedaron muy lindos y llamativos. Por último también hicimos macarons, que son como un tipo de galleta que se rellenan con crema, en este caso hicimos de colores amarillo y verde y quedaron super lindos.

We also made some chocolate cakes covered with yellow and green cream, which turned out very pretty and eye-catching. Finally, we also made macarons, which are a type of cookie filled with cream; in this case, we made them in yellow and green, and they looked super cute.

La emoción del mundial se ha sentido mucho por esta parte del mundo y en el trabajo no nos hemos quedado atrás y si bien nuestro país no está participando por la copa estamos emocionados por la participación del país en el que nos encontramos actualmente y por su puesto lo apoyamos con todo.

The excitement of the World Cup has been strongly felt in this part of the world, and we haven't been left out at work; even though our own country isn't competing for the cup, we are excited about the participation of the country where we are currently based—and, of course, we are backing it all the way.
