Uno de los productos que considero indispensables para la limpieza de nuestra cocina es un buen desengrasante y es que aunque suene sencillo la grasa no es algo de lo que nos podemos deshacer tan fácilmente, por suerte en el supermercado podemos conseguir una infinidad de productos de este tipo de diferentes marcas pero ciertamente no todos son buenos, lo que nos lleva directo a la decepción cuando adquirimos un producto que no cumple su función de la manera correcta y desafortunadamente eso es algo que me ha sucedido mucho como ha sido el caso con el producto del que les vengo a hablar hoy.
One of the products that I consider essential for cleaning our kitchen is a good degreaser and although it sounds simple, grease is not something we can get rid of so easily, luckily in the supermarket we can get an infinite number of products of this type. types of different brands but certainly not all of them are good, which leads us directly to disappointment when we purchase a product that does not fulfill its function in the correct way and unfortunately that is something that has happened to me a lot as has been the case with the product which I come to talk to you about today.
Hace poco tuve que recurrir al supermercado en busca de un desengrasante nuevo para limpiar mi cocina pero a decir verdad ninguno de los que vi me llamó la atención, a excepción del de la marca Mr. Músculo, el cual sé que es muy bueno pero en ese momento su valor excedía mi presupuesto, así que seguí buscando hasta encontrar una opción más económica pero lo difícil de esto era que me convenciera porque aunque había mucha variedad todos me hacían dudar de su eficacia, sobretodo porque algunos eran “marcas raras” para mí.
I recently had to go to the supermarket in search of a new degreaser to clean my kitchen but to tell the truth none of the ones I saw caught my attention, except for the brand Mr. Muscle, which I know is very good but at that time its value exceeded my budget, so I continued searching until I found a cheaper option but the difficult thing about this was to convince me because although there was a lot of variety, everyone made me doubt its effectiveness, especially because some were “strange brands” for me.
Al final me decidí por uno que aunque me hacía dudar era el más económico y en ese momento era lo que buscaba. La marca del desengrasante es Vik y de acuerdo a lo que vi en ese mismo pasillo del supermercado esta cuenta con otros productos de limpieza como lavaplatos y desinfectante pero para ser sincera nunca antes había comprado ningún producto de esta marca porque realmente no le he prestado atención, así que solo decidí darle una oportunidad probando el desengrasante como primer producto de esta marca y ver que tal era.
In the end I decided on one that, although it made me doubt, was the most economical and at that moment it was what I was looking for. The brand of the degreaser is Vik and according to what I saw in that same aisle of the supermarket it has other cleaning products such as dishwasher and disinfectant but to be honest I had never bought any product from this brand before because I really didn't I've been paying attention to it, so I just decided to give it a try by trying the degreaser as my first product from this brand and see how it was.
El desengrasante solo contaba con una presentación líquida en envase de 800 ml por un valor de 2$, lo que me pareció una cantidad adecuada a un precio accesible.
The degreaser only had a liquid presentation in an 800 ml container for a value of $2, which seemed like an adequate amount at an affordable price.
El primer uso que le di al desengrasante fue para limpiar toda la cocina ya que había grasa acumulada de mucho tiempo en partes en las que no sabía que la grasa podía llegar. Con ayuda de una esponja de alambre y un pañito hice la limpieza y realmente me sorprendió el resultado, pero debo decir que para poder lograrlo tuve que gastar una gran cantidad de producto y hacer mucho esfuerzo para retirar la grasa, aun así, siento que funcionó bien. Por otro lado, a diferencia de otros desengrasantes que he utilizado, este no dejó mis manos ásperas y con picor, lo que para ser sincera no sé si sea indicativo de algo bueno o malo, pues, siempre creí que este efecto en mis manos luego de usar un desengrasante se debía a lo fuerte del producto, lo cual no sucedió con el desengrasante Vik.
También lo utilicé para limpiar ollas y sartenes con grasa y para esto si puedo decir que no funcionó como esperaba, a pesar de que dejé remojando los utensilios con el desengrasante y utilicé una esponja fuerte además de un gran esfuerzo estos quedaron iguales y eso me decepcionó mucho.
The first use I gave the degreaser was to clean the entire kitchen since there was grease accumulated over a long time in parts where I didn't know grease could reach. With the help of a wire sponge and a cloth I did the cleaning and I was really surprised by the result, but I must say that in order to achieve it I had to use a large amount of product and make a lot of effort to remove the grease, even so, I feel that it worked good. On the other hand, unlike other degreasers I have used, this one did not leave my hands rough and itchy, which to be honest I don't know if it is indicative of something good or bad, well, I always believed that this effect on my hands after The decision to use a degreaser was due to the strength of the product, which did not happen with the Vik degreaser.
I also used it to clean pots and pans with grease and for this I can say that it did not work as I expected, even though I soaked the utensils with the degreaser and used a strong sponge, in addition to a great effort, these turned out the same and that disappointed me a lot.
Estoy consciente de que por el precio no podía exigirle mucho a este desengrasante pero de todas formas no fue buena la experiencia que tuve con él, a mi parecer vale la pena gastar un poco más y adquirir un producto de marca como Mr. Músculo o Easy Off que para mí son los mejores para esta tarea y si bien ambas marcas son costosas no se pone en duda su calidad.
Como les mencioné, nunca antes había probado la marca Vik, este desengrasante ha sido el primer producto y realmente no me gustó, por lo que debo pensarlo mucho antes de comprar otro producto suyo, pero quizás lo haga en un futuro a modo de prueba para comprobar si es cuestión de la marca o solo no tuve suerte con el desengrasante.
I am aware that for the price I could not demand much from this degreaser but in any case the experience I had with it was not good, in my opinion it is worth spending a little more and purchasing a brand name product like Mr. Muscle or Easy Off, which for me are the best for this task and although both brands are expensive, their quality is not in doubt.
As I mentioned, I had never tried the Vik brand before, this degreaser was the first product and I really didn't like it, so I should think about it a lot before buying another product from them, but maybe I will in the future test mode to check if it is a matter of the brand or I just had no luck with the degreaser.
