What do we love about #NeedleWorkMonday....

aaahh... the vibrant sounds of our keyboard keys tap tapping away, springing back each time, ready for yet another tap to bring our stories to life...🎵🎶🎵🎶

My husband came across Steemit about 3 months ago and told me about it. At that time, I did not bother much. I don't really facebook or blog because there was no urge for me to do so. But somehow, one very fine day, my fingers started tapping the keyboard, moving the mouse, curious... and my mind started drifting into the world of.......

That, my dear friend, was the beginning of my journey here 🛣️🛣️ 🛣️ ...

I started browsing Steemit, trying to figure out what it is all about and while briefly browsing through some of the posts (and getting lost about Steemit), out of curiosity, I tried searching for the word "crochet" and voila! #NeedleWorkMonday! Whaattt?? There are NeedleWork enthusiasts here?? I clicked on the first post from @bigbear at that time and reading her post made me feel connected right away. Though truth betold, deep down, I wasn't sure if I can do this but the urge to try was soooo strong. And as I read more #NeedleWorkMonday's posts, they felt so warm and familiar that I felt so excited to give it a try, even without understanding how Steemit works.

On March 27, 2018, I did it! I wrote my first post, well, more like a poem that didn't rhyme and it felt really good! It was so nice to hear from all of you after that! #NeedleWorkMonday is so different. I found myself spending hours reading everyone's posts and commenting for them because everyone's post deserve a good comment and there were so many (need more time!) ! We share, we learn and we get inspired.

My not-that-many-blogs so far...

It is amazing how much #NeedleWorkMonday has impacted our lives. For me, it braved me out of my little shell. There is this unexplainable drive to type, to share, to encourage, even with the little that I know. And once I start, I couldn't stop. And everyone is just so talented yet encouraging, it just makes you want to share and share. It makes us feel happy and motivated, driven and aaaaaahhhhhhhh, a whole lot of positive energy to bring more positivity to others and help others and pay it forward in everything that we do. When you're smiling, the whole world smiles with you 🙂 And this is a beautiful world 🌏🌏🌏!

#NeedleWorkMonday has brought us all together, giving us a sense of camaraderie, fellowship like the Lord of the Rings, allowing us to share and talk about something that we are passionate about. The support that everyone gives to each other is amazing, giving out tips to help each other out. The energy in this community is so strong, so positive. It's like having penpals all over again, except now we are craftpals 😍

To share. To write. To laugh. To smile. To sew. To knit. To crochet. To quilt. To felt. To bead. To learn. To teach. To encourage and be encouraged. To motivate and be motivated. To inspire and be inspired.

I have so many favorites because each of you share a different story which are all so beautiful and inspiring . But if I really have to name a few, here they are...

The first and second are of course @crosheille and @crystalize! Without them, we wouldn't have this community meeting place, for us to be able to come together, to share, to laugh, to smile. Not only are they beautiful inside out, they are soooo creatively talented!

Take a look at @crystalize's projects... exquisite! She turns ordinary lamps into a work of art, all Dax approved (Dax is her cute pet cat)! Her lamps always look amazingly beautiful each time. Always one of a kind, sometimes vintage and mostly beautifully dainty.

And @crosheille, one of the sweetest lady with the biggest of hearts, a supermom if you don't mind me saying, shares with us all her lovely stories, sharing a little bit of herself each time, letting us into her home and life. And she always have nice things to say to everyone, inspiring and encouraging us each time.

Thank you both from the very bottom of my heart, both of you are amazing!
