Anyhow, despite the rain and cold wind blowing through my skin, today's event will push through. It's a Meet and Greet with the New Boss. However, our main guest has not yet arrived. The waiting game suddenly turned on.
I am actually bored, here I am just sitting in my desk whining and yawning. Patiently waiting for our BIG BOSS to arrive as he announced to visit the provincial office today. Everyone seems pretty quite minding their own business, others are busy prepping all the things needed for his arrival today, and yet still NO SHOW. Well, his staff had send a message to my superior that Big Boss has a prior appointment before us and still promised to drop by anytime. My fellow colleuges has came to the office very early including the field personnel, they are all dying to meet the new BOSS, too.
I myself had also prepared all the needed reports and presentations for today. I have created powerpoint presentations for the whereabout, statuses and accomplishments in all sectors. All accomplishment reports are well backed up by supportlist and database generated reports. I might say we are ready for the presentation ad even to his critics, instructions and other commendations on the present status on the delivery of our mandated targets. I have heard that he is well-equipped using our Databases and he is very hands-on on the folder documentation because he had started from the bottom and climbed his wap to the higher management.

Time check, it is already 2:59 in the afternoon. And to note, we were at the venue at around 8:00 early. I think my make-up probably needs a re-touch, but I am too bored to mind it. I meant make-up as to my lipstick and nothing more. Eyeying everyone, people are chatting in their respective corners while others kept looking at their watches and hinting we just go home and call it a day.. hahaha.. I had drunk two mugs of coffee because I cannot help it, I needed the boost for sleep is slowly crawling in me. I needed to be awake for I am in-charge of all the presentations for today. I just truly hope that all preparations won't be for nothing.
Oh well, there are some things that we do not have control with. There are some things needed to be waited for. There are some things that needs a pause button. Some things do remind us to take things slow, chill a bit and worry less. If only those were easy to do right? At times like this, we really feel restless, bored and very unproductive.
Am I hearing myself right??!! I am questioning my unproductive moments here in the workplace.. hahahaha.. I should be happy like the rest for not having to work at all. Naaaaah! I aint like that, though I am not a super duper mega ultimate 100% all work kind of person. I aint a nerd either, though I wear glasses making me the four-eyed monster looking officemate.. 馃ぃ馃槀.. Yeah I am FUN! I can be FUN! (yeah right, keep telling that to yourself..)
aarrrrrggggggghhhhhhh! I hate this feeling. I need to stand, shake loose, groove a little and shake some bootie..
