Nauplios is the son of Poseidon according to Greek mythology. Nauplios is the king of Euboia.
Nauplios could not agree with the Greeks. Nauplios tried to provoke the wives of Greek soldiers who were fighting in battle. In addition, Nauplios surprised the direction of the Greek ships returning from the Trojan warfare. Because of this, many Greek ships hit the rocks and were shattered. The reason that Nauplios made these evils is that Palamedes, the son of Nauplios, was stoned to death.
