IV. Charles was born in 1294. Charles became king of France in 1322.
Charles continued to reform in like the other French kings. But Charles is usually under the influence of the French nobles. Charles, however, succeeded in creating a strong French army. In addition, Charles has created new taxes to meet the needs of regular armies. But these high taxes have caused the French people to rebel against Charles. But Charles has successfully ended this rebellion.
Charles died in 1322.
