I just finished a 10.529km running that lasted about 0hh:47mm:21ss !
Today, I was thinking I'd just go for an easy run, just to increase my weekly mileage a little bit. I did not feel like pushing myself too much speed-wise, and the way my pace dropped along the way shows that. But it ended up being a half-decent run, with about 6.5miles in 47 minutes. Far from my fastest, but much better than my slowest...
For once, it was a good thing to wait until late afternoon: except for a few patches always in the shade, sun had melted most of the ice on the roads (from the melted snow refreezing overnight). The cover photo is from the morning when ice was still there.
Once again, I just added a few loops around my now usual short route. Starting from my place (most of the time, I prefer not to drive somewhere just for a run), there aren't too many choices. I do need to find a few more interesting routes.
Surprisingly, with a gorgeous weather like that, I didn't see anybody out there, not even a dog walker. I guess people got into hibernation mode already. Well, that's more open road for me!
