Yesterday was another sunny day, and although a bit warmer, still very nice.
Le Chat seemed to wonder what the hell we were doing checking on the foliage.
She didn't have to wonder too long as we quickly started our daily walk near the small forest.
But we also didn't stay there long, as we wanted to visit the bigger forest again. Again, Le Chat seemed to wonder where it was that we were going.
Just our neighborhood forest, that used to be our daily destination.
Now with Kaia's injury, we just resumed going there last weekend and we will most likely reserve it for the week end walks.
We took the time to go on the other side of the forest. I mentioned that in winter snow usually stays on that side much longer, I was curious to see if foliage was different. But same mostly green colors.
Once we were done, Kaia led us out and back home. She was a bit behind at first but this is very important for her to lead the way.
We finished the day with yard work. I only had time to finish mowing the front yard before it got dark (and I got lazy too...). I'll finish the back yard sometimes this week or at worst next weekend. With the leaves starting to fall, I will need to mow more often, as I don't bag leaves, I just mulch them. But we still have a couple weeks before it really starts to cover the whole ground in the yard.
