The sunny weather was back yesterday. People here say it's cold but for someone living in Detroit, it's barely chilly. So, a long walk with Sam was of course a must in the afternoon.
I didn't remember but last time I was here, this long wall was partly down.
It's nice they rebuilt it with similar stones, just the color is different of course.
We ended up going in the direction of the old part of the village. On the way, you can always find beautiful views on the local hills. My favorite ones are more to the right though, but it's nice too.
For this tiny path, there is a story about Kings and Queens and the Medicis dynasty but that's about all I know...
Like I already mentioned, there's often the old church at the top of these villages.
On the way back, we found greener paths, so Sam could go off-leash and blurry...
Even along the highway, this is pretty nice, albeit a bit loud.
And that was it. Another day juggling with shifted work hours and family/friends time, it's going well so far. But just a few more days before flying back home. I know at least two that will be very happy about it. I can see Kaia sometimes on the boarding place webcams, she looks bored out of her mind! And I'm sure it's same for Le Chat at home, unless she constantly has to fight the raccoons!
Sam on the other hand will probably miss the extra long walks when I'm gone.
