Hey Actifitters,
Sunday was still mostly sunny, and we had some snow left. I wanted to work on the house, and clean up, so I decided not to go to another park and instead split our walks with Kaia into two parts. Firstly, we went to our usual forest early afternoon.
We went a little off-trail so Kaia could go off-leash and explore.
It almost felt like the beginning of Spring, with lots of squirrels, and of course plenty of deer as usual. Kind of reminded me of these documentaries about big National parks out West after the harsh winter when all the wildlife comes out of hibernation.
Like I said, I really wanted to get going on some house chores, so back to the trail and home.
Of course, I did check often on Kaia in the yard. She was trying to find the spots with the most snow to lay down.
Later in the afternoon, it was of course time to catch the sunset during our second long walk.
We walked around the area while the sun was on its descent.
Eventually, we had this great sunset view on one side.
And the Moon rising on the other side!
We finished our walk after nightfall, and I completed the day's activities with some more clean up. Not as much as I should have, but that's a start.
