Hello, Dear Hivers! | Hola, Queridos Hivers!
This last days I've been working on a new art work inspired in a drawing I made last year while helping mommy at work. I didn't fully finished it, but seeing how meaningful it was, I thought it would be a great idea to work it in depth.
Since I haven't finished the big version yet, today I bring you the process of the little drawing, now used as sketch, plus some points about the story behind it.
Being a dreamy girl it's not always a good thing. It keeps me from knowing some stuff, like when someone is being mean to me.
I live in a bubble where I breathe love and happiness, and create all those beautiful things I show you here. Everything inside it is perfect for me, but sometimes that perfection blinds me. I dive so deep in it that I forget the cruel reality we live in. Which is not good, but is my defense mechanism since I'm not the strongest.
Last time I put my feet back on the ground was at the anniversary of the the twin towers tragedy, which is think was one of the reasons I made this drawing. I had never watched the video, and my parents showed it to me. They also told me the whole story behind it and the conspiracies that surrounded the facts...
...I cried the whole night.
Moments like that make me want to move to another planet, or to even stop living. Can you believe that there isn't a place in the whole world where you can go and be fully happy? With no wars, no government abuse, no cruelty to animals, no gender violence, nothing bad!
Isn't it super sad?
I don't tend to write sad stuff, that's my dad's department haha, but this is something I wanted to share with y'all.
In the drawing there's a girl inside a bubble surrounded by darkness. Inside the bubble is her world, and she's trying to reach a butterfly... The rest story can be read the way you feel it. It's a open interpretation. I leave it to your imagination.
