El amarillo es junto al azul y el rojo, uno de los tres colores primarios, dado que combinándolos en diferentes proporciones es posible obtener cualquier color, además, desde el punto de vista de la psicología y las artes, se le considera un color cálido, al igual que el rojo y el anaranjado. Por el contrario, el azul, el verde y el morado suelen entrar dentro de la clasificación de colores fríos.
Por otra parte, el amarillo desde tiempos ancestrales ha sido asociado con la luz, el sol y el oro, por lo que su presencia está relacionada con la riqueza y la abundancia, lo cual se manifiesta en diversas costumbres populares, como la tradición de vestir una prenda, preferiblemente íntima, de este color, para recibir el Año Nuevo, buscando atraer la prosperidad sobre las finanzas personales y familiares del portador.
En diferentes partes de Barquisimeto, la ciudad donde resido actualmente, hay una gran abundancia de estas pequeñas florecillas amarillas conocidas comúnmente como "Margaritas Rastreras", las cuales no llegan a superar los 3 o 4 centímetros de diámetro en el mejor de los casos, y las cuales destacan por su intensa tonalidad, por lo cual no pasan inadvertidas.
En la planta baja del edificio donde vive mi madre, las jardineras están llenas de estos arbustos, por lo que cada vez que voy a visitarla, acostumbro tomar algunas fotos de sus flores, y ocasionalmente, encontrar algún insecto o abeja posándose sobre ellas mientras tiene lugar el maravilloso proceso de la "polinización", vital para la vida humana.
Yellow is, together with blue and red, one of the three primary colors, since by combining them in different proportions it is possible to obtain any color, and from the point of view of psychology and the arts, it is considered a warm color, like red and orange. On the contrary, blue, green and purple are usually classified as cold colors.
On the other hand, yellow since ancient times has been associated with light, sun and gold, so its presence is related to wealth and abundance, which is manifested in various popular customs, such as the tradition of wearing a garment, preferably intimate, of this color, to receive the New Year, seeking to attract prosperity on personal and family finances of the wearer.
In different parts of Barquisimeto, the city where I currently live, there is a great abundance of these small yellow flowers commonly known as "Creeping Daisies", which do not exceed 3 or 4 centimeters in diameter in the best of cases, and which stand out for their intense hue, which is why they do not go unnoticed.
On the first floor of the building where my mother lives, the window boxes are full of these shrubs, so every time I go to visit her, I usually take some pictures of their flowers, and occasionally, I find some insect or bee landing on them while the wonderful process of "pollination" takes place, vital for human life.
