Good afternoon my dearest #hive people and also from the #AlienArtHive community ✌🏽🤓, welcome to a new work for my blog; today I wanted to vary a little and take the opportunity to share something here for the #alien community about a character I decided to invent a couple of days ago, this is a more antagonistic character in his own story and in what I usually draw. On a planet in a galaxy far far away from ours there was an emperor who ruled for several (eons) that corner of the galaxy with diplomacy and prosperity; this until, in a terrible attack on his home planet, he ended up perishing because of the serious injuries suffered in most of his body, and as a result of this both his planet and several surrounding systems were adrift in the absence of a leader.
Unfortunately for the emperor never got to have children or heirs, and this is where this character comes in question that I decided to create, it is a pretty woman named Larah alien, which unlike her husband is a very cold and authoritarian woman, who never agreed with her late husband with the way in which he ruled, because he considered that made them weak and vulnerable; It was for this reason that she herself planned the attack on the emperor's planet to assassinate him, so that she as his wife and only direct relative could finally take control of the powerful and prosperous galaxy that for years he had ambitions to possess:
Muy buenas tardes mi queridísima gente #hive y también de la comunidad de #AlienArtHive ✌🏽🤓, sean bienvenidos a una nueva obra para mi blog; hoy quise variar un poco y aprovechar para compartir algo por aquí por la comunidad #alien sobre un personaje propio que decidí inventar hace un par de días atrás, se trata de un personaje mas antagonista dentro de su propia historia y en lo que normalmente suelo dibujar. En un planeta de una galaxia muy muy lejana a la nuestra existió un emperador el cual gobernó durante varios (eones) ese rincón de galaxia con diplomacia y prosperidad; esto hasta que, en un terrible ataque perpetrado a su planeta natal, termino pereciendo a causa de las graves heridas sufridas en la mayor parte de su cuerpo, y como consecuencias de esto tanto su planeta como varios sistemas aledaños quedaron a la deriva a falta de un líder.
Infortunadamente para el emperador nunca llego a tener hijos o herederos, y es aquí donde entra este personaje en cuestión que decidí crear, se trata de una linda mujer alíen de nombre Larah, la cual a diferencia de su esposo es una mujer sumamente fría y autoritaria, que nunca estuvo de acuerdo con su difunto esposo con la forma en la cual gobernaba, pues consideraba que los hacia débiles y vulnerables; fue por ello que ella misma planifico el ataque al planeta del emperador para asesinarlo, y así ella como su esposa y único familiar directo finalmente podría asumir el control de la poderosa y prospera galaxia que durante años ambiciono poseer:

To create this character I focused on drawing something in portrait style since I usually find it a little easier to draw characters in this way, and especially I do this when my main idea is to show the character and not so much his clothes or physical appearance; well I got down to work and created Larah with a more or less humanized appearance, with long and sharp ears, with a thinner or thinner body frame, and with an expression on the face that was more or less cold since it was what I wanted to convey for this character. The coloring of Larah I wanted it to be something more or less special and at the same time to give an appearance as similar as possible to how I think aliens look, so I chose for the skin a color like a fairly intermediate fuchsia; I decided to paint her with hair and my idea here was to give her an appearance quite similar to how human hair looks with a very deep gray color, almost black.
Para crear a este personaje me centre en dibujar algo a estilo retrato ya que normalmente se me hace un poco mas fácil dibujar personajes de esta manera, y sobre todo hago esto cuando mi principal idea es la de dar a conocer al personaje y no tanto su vestimenta o apariencia física; bueno me puse manos a la obra y cree a Larah con una apariencia mas o menos humanizada, con orejas largas y afiladas, con una contextura corporal mas fina o delgada, y con una expresión en el rostro que fuera más o menos fría ya que era lo que me interesaba transmitir para este personaje. El coloreado de Larah quise que fuera algo más o menos especial y que al mismo tiempo diera una apariencia lo mas similar posible a como yo creo que se ven los aliens, por eso opte para la piel por un color como fucsia bastante intermedio; decidí pintarla con cabello y mi idea aquí si fue darle una apariencia bastante similar a como se ve el cabello humano con un color gris muy profundo, casi negro.
The texturing of the skin I did thinking that this was not so smooth, but had the facial features a little more demarcated, such as in the cheekbones which I painted with a very light color to give a little volume, for the part of the cheeks I worked with darker tones to make these areas look deeper; I also added the respective deep shadows and shadows of occlusion where even natural lighting fails to reach. The eye area I worked with pink tones very close to the skin, and on that base I started to build some basic volume so that the eyeballs didn't look flat or boring; then I moved on to the inner iris of the eye where I used some gray and white color, also adding some shimmers and final shadows that are always important to give even more realism to the eyes and also to the lips.
El texturizado de la piel lo hice pensando en que este fuera no tan lisa, sino que tuviera los rasgos faciales un poco mas demarcados, como por ejemplo en los pómulos los cuales pinte con un color muy claro para dar un poco de volumen, para la parte de las mejillas trabaje con tonos mas oscuros para hacer ver más profunda estas zonas; también fui agregando las respectivas sombras profundas y sombras de oclusión donde ni siquiera la iluminación natural logra llegar. El apartado de los ojos lo trabaje con tonos rosados muy cercanos al de la piel, y sobre esa base empecé a construir un poco de volumen básico para que los globos oculares no se viera planos o aburridos; luego pase al iris interno del ojo donde use un poco de color gris y blanco, también añadir algunos brillos y sombras finales que siempre son importantes para dar aún más realismo a los ojos y también a los labios.
I gave the hair its corresponding texturing, first what I did was to define the relief well with soft lines with watercolor and then go stretching from the dark areas to the lighter ones, and then I did the reverse and dragged from the light to the dark ones and thus I obtained a much more detailed texture of locks and without the need to blur too much; then I just used my open bristle tip brush and brushed the hair strands one by one while lightly scaling the highlights and also the shadows in the lower areas and where it meets the skin. For the clothing of this character of Larah I wanted to do something very special, instead of painting a complicated textured clothing, I decided to do a more traditional kind of clothing so to speak, with a kind of blouse of soft and somewhat translucent fabric, and for the top a kind of white dress; what I did here was to work a little patterns on the dress where I helped me a little with the brush that I always use to create bushes and made the strokes only on the top of the dress applying some layer effects.
Al cabello le di su texturizado correspondiente, primero lo que hice fue definir bien el relieve con líneas suaves con acuarela para luego ir estirando desde las zonas oscuras hasta las mas claras, y luego hice lo inverso y arrastre desde las claras hasta las oscuras y así obtuve una textura de mechones mucho mas detallada y sin necesidad de difuminar demasiado; luego solo me dedique a usar mi pincel de punta de cerdas abiertas y plasme los mechones de pelo uno por uno mientras escalaba ligeramente los brillos y también las sombras en las zonas mas bajas y donde se junta con la piel. Para la vestimenta de este personaje de Larah quise hacer algo muy especial, en lugar de pintar una ropa con textura complicada, mejor decidí hacer una especie de vestimenta mas tradicional por así decirlo, con una especie de blusa de tela suave y algo traslucida, y para la parte de arriba una especie de vestido blanco; lo que si hice aquí fue trabajar un poco los patrones en el vestido donde me ayude un poco con el pincel que siempre uso para crear arbustos e hice los trazos solo sobre la parte alta del vestido aplicando unos efectos de capa.
For the last part I dedicated myself to create a background that was like a kind of royal hall something dark and gloomy, something like the place where the ruler sits to meet with his subordinates and to give orders, something like a kind of royal throne; basically I did not complicate much and created a little brick texture in the background with purple and a little light purple, this to simulate a wall. Then as a complement and to give more sense to the throne I painted what would be the chair or royal throne where the now Queen and emperor Larah would be sitting, while she gives her first orders; another thing that came to my mind for the final part was to create a kind of necklace with a big yellow gem as warm and bright as the intensity of a thousand suns XD.
Para la última parte me dedique a crear un fondo que fuera como una especie de salón real algo oscuro y lúgubre, algo así como el lugar donde el gobernante se sientas para reunirse con sus subordinados y para dar órdenes, algo así como una especie de trono real; básicamente no me complique mucho y cree un poco de textura de ladrillos en el fondo con color morado y un poco de violeta claro, esto para simular una pared. Luego como complemento y para darle mas sentido al trono pinte lo que seria la silla o trono real donde estaría sentada la ahora Reina y emperadora Larah, mientras da sus primeras ordenes; otra cosa que se me ocurrió para la parte final fue la de crear una especie de collar con una gran gema amarilla tan cálida y brillante como la intensidad de mil soles XD.
