Walking around Quogue Wildlife Refuge, a few weeks ago.. Just the inkling of Spring approaching.
Some ducks & Geese but no leaves on the trees.
Only green are the evergreen pine trees in the distance.
A mallard comes close to me as I'm walking on the path that skirts the pond, looking for food I assume. Many of the wild birds become tame with the many Refuge visitors.
