Unexpected Prickly Pear Cactus flowers on a pad I took from the Jamesport cemetery this Spring.
I just transplanted this pad I started in a pot after it grew a new pad. Never noticed any flower buds until the Two not one flowers came out yesterday...
They have the yellowest of yellow color you could wish for. Said to only last one day but these two are still going strong on the second day....
