Greetings, fellow sentient beings!
I have to warn you this will be a game of my mind jumping from topic to topic. What can I do, a lot of the time these past few days I have been doing this and it needs to be poured.
Follow at your own peril...
I have been reading short summaries of certain books that claimed that the unfocused mind was the path to destruction. Self. Been there.
Also, been on the side that requires constant devotion to progress and growth. A philosophy I much admire and try to stick to has something to say about the futility of such pursuit.
Both philosophies I accept and I like, although, the first one not specifically for that which I quoted.
Still, I agree one should learn how to unhustle. How to have fun and rest. How to meditate.
Never been quite there. But I know the sensation of being light of mind and heart, light of cares...my once-upon-a-time hitch-hiking experience says it remembers. Do I?
I suddenly saw a brick wall from the past. I am almost asleep and plunging into unconscious visions from time to time.
Why so cereal? You know the reference from a movie, a dark one. The goals of both ideas clash and then speed up in different directions. I tend to agree with the modern one when it comes to the goal, and with the Zen one when it comes to the path.
I am sure I had some topic in mind, an entirely different one, but I forgot the keys...
No keeper, me.
Just a dude who likes to toss ideas around. And they are gone now because the conscious is fighting its hopeless fight with the next best thing to meditation. Sleep. The border areas of which produce elephant-sized and shaped recorders. To be forgotten on the morning.
Topics are overrated, anyway. All is, unless you're having a good time along that road.
Where am I?
Don't forget to eat your cereals.
