This Splinterlands Legendary monsters is a nightmare against giants
Whats up my fellow splinterlands warriors!
Wishing you all a great day and I hope you all are enjoying this weekend with your loved ones and also playing this awesome card game in your free time. The crypto market, after a long bear season is finally giving some good vibe among the community and with BTC trading above 30k$ and Hive also getting close to 0.35$, the current situation feels so positive for a start of bull run. There are some good news circulating as well including Black Rock company entering into crypto industry and I believe this news alone is creating some fire not only among the crypto people but also people outside. However, I think its the best time to accumulate the cryptos you love or believe into and hold them strong until you see the bull trembling the stage. Now, talking shout splinterlands, the pumping vibe has already touched dec token as you can see it is currently trading almost near 0.0009$ and I guess there’s not much time left before it touches its soft pegged value of 1000 dec at 1$. Though the long ingoing bear market has affected many projects including splinterlands, the team is continuously working behind the screen to bring back the glory into the game and the results are finally starting to show. Its really great to acknowledge as a splinterlands player and lover to dec getting back to its pegged value and I strongly believe the SPS is going to blow up just after dec reaches there. Currently SPS is selling for near its all time lowest value of 0.017$ per unit and many including me thinks it will only rise from here and take an insane boost once the staked SPS requirement kicks in which is not far away.
RAA
Now, let me come to the main theme of this post as today, I am going to showcase one of my favourite Rift monsters Raa. I bought it some weeks ago and directly as max level from the market and since them, it is serving me well in high mana rulesets.
Raa is a legendary type rift card and it belongs to the Death element. It costs a whooping 12 mana to be used in battles so you can only use this card in 99 mana or other high mana limit matches. Its attack type is ranged and thou it has only 4 ranged attack even at max level, it has the Double Strike ability, it can attack 2 times back to back which certainly makes this card so powerful. Let us now take a deeper look into this card league wise at below.
Bronze
This is a legendary card so even at level 1 he stands very strong in the battle with 3 ranged attack at 2 speed with 7 health along with 3 abilities - Flying, Double Strike and Scattershot.
Silver
When you upgrade it to level 2, it gets an increment in its health from 7 to 8 and also a new ability - Giant killer. Now, as you gets 2 attacks per turn with scattershot ability, it will attack randomly on 2 enemies and if they are on or above 10 mana, it will deal 2x damage to them.
Gold
On the next next, this card possesses the same stats as of it’s previous level but on the good side, it does a get a new and amazing ability - Rust with which, it will reduce 2 armour from every enemy monster.
Diamond / Champion
As you upgrade this card upto the max level 4, it gets it best status upgrade with an increment in its attack power from 3 to 4. This awesome update suddenly makes it even more stronger and deadlier to fight against the big sized monsters. It will already attack 2 times x 4 damage but on big size monsters of 10 or more mana cost it will attack 8 instead of 4 with every attack. So, you can clearly see that this is a great choice against such types of monsters.

Battle Analysis
Well, it was a high 52 mana limit match with only 2 elements allowed to chose from - Life and Death. However, there were 3 rulesets applied in this match - Only Ranged, All Blast and Noxious Fumes snd for this match, I decided to go with the Death element and chose Contessa as my playing summoner, which only costs 3 mana to use but reduces all enemy monster’s ranged attack by 1. This summoner is very useful in this particular match as you can see, only ranged monsters can be used in this match. However, as for my lineup, I selected Queen of Crows at the front position and followed by Cornealus, Supply Runner, Raa, Lira and Venary marksrat at the last position. Anyways, after submitting my lineup when the match got revealed I found out my opponent has also used the death element and he chose the Chaos rare summoner and in his line up, he choses same Queen of Crows at front and followed by Dhampir Stalker, Tower Griffin, Lira Supply Runner and Raa at the last position.
Round 1
As the battle begins, I got amazed to see there were total 66 turns alone in round 1 which clearly says how long it will be in this initial round. However, While my Marksrat got killed
In action as the first friendly monster, I also got able to deal return damage to each of them thanks to my Crows + Cornealus combo. I also successfully killed the enemy Dhampir Stalker by my marksrat and also the enemy supply Runner by my Raa. Then, Raa also attacked The crows next and left it with only 1 health and being poisoned upon that, it is pretty clear that my Raa literally dictated the first round with a nice kill and an auto kill of the crows at start of second round!
Round 2
Most of the dirty work has been done at the first round and as the second round begins, the enemy crows get dies at first with the poison effect and the rest 3 monsters were only left with 1 health each. As my Lira attacked first, it took down both of the first 2 position cards tower griffin and xxx with the help of blast ability. Now, the only monster that were left at the enemy side after this attack was the Raa with inly 1 health and as it gets to the first position, it will be also unable to attack me. Anyways, I gently took care of this with my next attack from Supple Runner and hence, I win this bug mana match in second round only!
I hope you liked the match that I shared above and also loved to read my battle analysis post. Do you also have Raa in your collection or are you planning to buy it? Please let me know in the comments below and I will be seeing you all in my next post!
