I just observed that the rewards for the Wild mode in Splinterlands are left in limbo "COMING SOON. Daily rewards for this format will return in a future event.". As an OG player of the game which I have joined it since its presale, even before the game was playable, such moves simply feel unfair. I have been investing in the game mostly until the Chaos Legion releases and with that I can mostly play in the Wild mode. And now seeing the inequity between Wild and Modern formats while I am here for so long that I can't even remember since 😊 makes me feel revolted from within.
Not only that I need to pay 2,000 DEC for the Wild pass each season, but now all the Daily rewards are suspended. Just tell me how would you feel or are feeling now if you play in the Wild League. I am not saying that there shouldn't be incentives for Modern format and acquiring new edition cards, but that should not be by adding penalties for the OG players. I know that what I am feeling other players are feeling as well and I hope that in the future or whatever will be done after "COMING SOON" will get a more fair system for all the players. One should not feel left behind while supporting this ecosystem for so many years and being around in the hardest moments.
In other ecosystems OG players are even more rewards and their assets are more valuable, but I feel that the direction in Splinterlands is different. That will chip into the player base and only "welcoming" new players or those that buy only new edition cards doesn't seem fair to me. I might be wrong, but I wanted to put this out in case other players feel the same. And not last, in case any Splinterlands team member sees this maybe they will pay a little bit more attention for OG players as well.
