Welcome back to another awesome Splinterlands post, my friends, and I hope all of you are doing pretty well in life and enjoying a great time with your family and friends. Now, for those of you warriors who are continuously and actively playing this web3 card-based strategy game irrespective of the market and focusing fully on growing your SL asset collection, I guess you all are currently pushing hard in this ongoing season's ranked battles as the season slowly approaches its end. If we take a look at the current ranked season timer, only around 2 days and 9 hours are left before the reset happens. So this is the final season-end phase where many players try to secure their desired league tier position, grab those juicy reward chests, or even make a last push toward the leaderboard if you wish, but haven't reached there yet. Just make sure to manage your battle energy carefully during this crucial time so that you can maximise your earned rewards.
Now, taking a look at my own progress in the game, I am currently playing in the Gold I league tier with a trophy count of around 3,920 in the frontier mode. My immediate goal remains the same, which is to reach the 4,000 trophy mark first and then try pushing further to see if I can secure a spot on the leaderboard. With very limited time left in the season, it is going to be a tight grind, but I will still try my best to make it happen. On the other hand, if we take a quick peek at the weekly Frontier raffle, I have, till now, collected a total of 30 entries. With around 2 days and 8 hours left before the raffle draw, I will try my best to increase this number to at least 54 entries or more to improve my chances. Let’s see how it goes this time and if my luck shines once again.
Now moving forward, let us come to the main topic of this post, as today I will be taking a closer look at another interesting monster from the Conclave Arcana set. As you have already seen in the title and thumbnail above, today I will be shedding light on the Taye Loreswift. So if you are interested in learning more about this monster card, let us dive deeper without any further delay.
The Taye Loreswift is a monster-type card that was introduced in the game with the latest Conclave Arcana core edition. This monster belongs to the Neutral element and it comes from the Elf bloodline. By rarity, this card is a Legendary monster, so you will require a total of 11 CC cards in order to upgrade it to its maximum level. Now, if you want to use this monster in your battle lineup, you only need to spend 3 mana, which makes it extremely flexible and usable in almost any type of match, including low to medium mana limit battles or those with the Little League ruleset. The attack type of this monster is Melee, and apart from its attack power, it also comes with good speed and a decent combination of armor and health, which helps it survive multiple hits. At its maximum level, this monster gains a total of four useful abilities, which makes it quite valuable despite its low mana cost. Let us now take a closer look at its league-wise stats and abilities below.
At level 1, this monster holds basic stats that consist of 1 melee attack power at 3 speed with 1 armor and 2 health. Apart from these stats, it also has an ability from its initial level called Reach. This allows the monster to be placed behind the main tank and still deal damage.
REACH – Can use melee attacks from the second position.
When you upgrade this monster further to level 2, its stats improve slightly and it now possesses 1 melee attack power at 3 speed with 1 armor and 3 health. At this level, it also gains another useful ability called Inspire. This ability is very effective when used alongside multiple melee attackers.
INSPIRE – +1 melee power to all allied units.
As this monster gets upgraded further and reaches level 3, its stats improve and it now carries 2 melee attack power at 3 speed with 1 armor and 3 health. At this level, it also gains another ability called Snare. This ability helps counter flying monsters effectively.
SNARE – 100% chance to hit and apply Snared to targets with Flying. Snared units lose all bonuses from Flying.
Finally, when you upgrade this monster to its maximum level of 4, its stats increase further and it now holds 3 melee attack power at 3 speed with 1 armor and 4 health. At this level, it also gains another useful ability called Piercing. This makes it easier to deal damage to heavily armored enemies.
PIERCING – Damage in excess of the target's armor is applied to health.
Last but not least, I think this monster can be extremely useful in many different types of battles. First of all, it costs only 3 mana, which means you can use it in almost any match without worrying about your mana limit. Next, it comes with a decent armor and health combination, which helps it survive against multiple attacks. Another strong point of this monster is its attack potential at higher levels, where it can deal up to 3 melee damage, which feels quite powerful for such a low mana cost. On top of that, all four of its abilities are very useful. My favourite combination is Reach and Inspire, because it allows the monster to attack from the second position while also boosting the attack power of other melee units. Overall, I think the Taye Loreswift is a very efficient and powerful low-mana monster that can significantly strengthen your lineup. What do you think?
