English

His fate was already decided, sitting in the room with the moon behind him, the box lying in front of him.

After having spent so many years searching to find her, he had finally achieved her goal, but the curse had been fulfilled.

He had been condemned to this kind of mausoleum surrounded by books and surrounded by all the treasures, knowledge and things he wanted to have.

But his destiny was to stay appreciating everything he couldn't reach and, nevertheless, it was there a few meters from him.

Just a few steps away was the coveted Pandora's box that contained all the secrets and knowledge of humanity, beyond everything he would have wanted, beyond what every human being would have tried to achieve.

Now he was there, but there was no way he was going to get out of this encounter.

The only way was to turn to look at the moon, but his body was completely paralyzed.

Feeling no pain, he tried his best to move, but to no avail.

The curse had been fulfilled and now this greedy old man was going to remain locked inside this room for all his greed.

He began to count time and so he counted from number one to three thousand trillion trillion trillion and actually when he took out the accounts more than a thousand years had passed just counting and in his mind he had gone crazy.

He was left alone, abandoned in his compound, a prisoner of his greed.

His sentence was being a few meters from his most desired treasure, not being able to discover its contents, and knowing that he would continue there, in that state, for all eternity.
