We leave the territory of the Kremlin and head for the other side of the river Volkhov along this wonderful bridge:
We already walked here when we visited last time in 2011. Places are all familiar, there are memories..
And in the distance the Victory Monument rises. Huge, with a height of 34.5 meters, from here it seems quite small.

Near the neighboring shore is a sailboat. But this is not an operating ship, but a restaurant called the frigate Flagman.
From the bridge offers an excellent view of St. Sophia Cathedral and the belfry, which stands behind the Kremlin wall.
And here is our old friend! Since our last visit in 2011, it has not changed at all - everything is also slim and young!
