In countries where you see the four seasons, you can't always find the fruits you like, something I miss from my beloved Venezuela, where you could always find them at any time of year!

But after so many years in Argentina, it's time to adapt and take advantage of the seasonal fruits to kill cravings. That's why today I'll make a watermelon frappe to refresh myself in the afternoon and also have a snack.

Let's go with the ingredients, which are few, but guarantee an explosion of flavors to the palate.

Ingredients

4 pieces of seedless watermelon
1 glass of milk
Vanilla (optional)
1 cup with ice

Preparation

Place the ice in the blender, along with the watermelon pieces and beat a little.

Then, add the milk and vanilla and beat again for 1 minute, or until you feel that the ice has completely disintegrated.

And ready!

Serve in a glass, and if you want you can add condensed milk, to give it the appearance of the shaved ice we used to have in Venezuela in my childhood.
To enjoy it better, I advise you to use a sorbet when you drink it.

It is a rich drink, which is super economical and helps us stay hydrated, in addition to meeting the body's daily water needs.

And in my particular case, which I continue to struggle to stop eating processed snacks between meals, a fruit shake is always a good option, because not only does it sweeten my palate a little (notice that I didn't use extra sugar) but it also generates that feeling of fullness, so I don't need something extra before the next meal.

I hope this idea serves you to change your snacks a little, or simply enjoy something delicious and different.
