English Version

How many of you see the ingredients of the things you buy at a supermarket?

I think very few people pay attention to that, not even bother to see the expiration dates. Just seeing the brand of what they want, it seems more than enough to put in the basket, without taking into account how important it is to see the labels of the products!

In Argentina, the Celiac Association managed to get the food industry, to start producing products without TACC (Wheat, Oats, Barley and Rye), so that people with this condition could enjoy the same foods as the rest of the population, but taking care of their health.

Now on each label you can see the seals that identify which of them are suitable for the consumption of celiacs.

It is not a question of sanitizing them, because their consumption in those who tolerate it has no effect, but if you have decided to modify your eating habits, avoiding them to combat the swelling that can cause in some, having these options can be the push that is needed to complete a healthier diet.

It may seem silly, but that freedom to have a less restricted diet, gives a quality of life for those who have this condition.

The bad thing is that some of these products tend to have a much higher cost than the rest, so the fight in this sense is still active.
But I rescue this achievement, which does not exist in other countries!

It is a victory that would be good to replicate around the world, not only for the good of celiacs, but for all those who want to change their habits and improve their nutrition.
