Greetings my dear friends of Hive Open Mic! We arrive to a new week, the #140 of this great musical space that brings us together around music. This time the theme is The Sea (Caribbean), chosen by our friend @thelooter.

If there is one thing I have no doubt about, it is that this week will bring a lot of color and flavor to the Open Mic, because that is the Caribbean. I could not stay behind and since I knew the theme, a song was always in my mind, which I have known since I was a child and I saw the perfect opportunity to share it with all of you.

It is Under the Sea, a song that appears in the Disney movie The Little Mermaid and was composed and produced by Alan Menken and Howard Ashman in 1989, with a catchy Caribbean calypso musical style.

This song talks about Sebastian's plea for Ariel to stay under the sea and reminding her of the advantages of a relaxed life under the sea. I hope you enjoy it.

Si de algo no tengo duda es que esta semana traerá mucho color y sabor al Open Mic, porque eso es el caribe. Yo no me podía quedar atrás y desde que supe la temática, una canción estuvo siempre en mi mente, la cual conozco desde que era una niña y vi la oportunidad perfecta para compartirla con todos ustedes.

Se trata del tema Bajo el Mar (Under the Sea), un tema que aparece en la película de Disney La Sirenita y que fue compuesta y producida por Alan Menken y Howard Ashman en el año 1989, con un pegajoso estilo musical calipso del Caribe.

Esta canción de la súplica de Sebastián, para que Ariel se mantenga bajo el mar y recordándole las ventajas de una vida relajada bajo el mar. Espero que la disfruten.
