I'm so incredibly happy that I want and need to share my emotions with you all 馃 馃槂. The reason for so much happiness is that I recently received a visit from my best friend, whom I hadn't seen for two years. While that might not seem like a long time to other people, it truly is for us. We've been inseparable friends since shortly before starting university, about 20 years ago, and both time and our shared experiences have brought us closer to the point where we consider ourselves sisters at heart. She's a noble and altruistic person, with strong ideals and a well-formed character. Her advice has always been incredibly helpful, and her unwavering faith has strengthened mine. So, I owe her so much in life, especially because she's always been there for me through thick and thin, and even though we hadn't seen each other for so long, we never lost touch.
Estoy tan supremamente feliz que quiero y necesito compartir mis emociones con ustedes 馃 馃槂, la raz贸n de tanta felicidad es que recientemente recib铆 la visita de mi mejor amiga a qui茅n yo no ve铆a desde hac铆a dos a帽os, y aunque puede ser que para otras personas eso no sea demasiado tiempo, la verdad es que para nosotras lo es. Ambas somos amigas inseparables desde poco antes de ingresar a la universidad, desde hace m谩s o menos 20 a帽os, y tanto el tiempo como las vivencias de cada una fueron uni茅ndonos hasta tal punto en el que nos consideramos hermanas del coraz贸n. Ella es una persona noble y altruista, de ideales firmes y con un car谩cter bien formado, sus consejos siempre me ayudaron mucho, y su fe inquebrantable fortaleci贸 la m铆a, as铆 que le debo mucho en la vida, en especial porque siempre ha estado conmigo en mis peores y mejores momentos, y a pesar de que ten铆amos tanto tiempo sin vernos, nunca perdimos el contacto.
We went a long time without seeing each other because of our busy schedules, but when she visited me at home I was truly happy. We caught up on gossip and each other's projects, reminisced about our university years, and had such a good time that the only bad thing was that time flew by, so we still owe each other more conversations 馃. But the time we spent together wasn't just beautiful and quality time, it was necessary. Listening to each other, remembering old mutual friends, and talking about our projects helped us strengthen our friendship and grow even closer.
Pasamos mucho tiempo sin vernos debido a las ocupaciones de cada qui茅n, pero cuando recib铆 su visita en casa realmente me puse muy feliz, nos pusimos al d铆a con los chismes y con los proyectos de cada qui茅n, rememoramos nuestros a帽os de universidad y la pasamos tan bien que lo 煤nico malo fue que el tiempo se pas贸 muy de prisa, muy de prisa, as铆 que quedamos debi茅ndonos conversaciones 馃 pero el tiempo que pasamos juntas no solo fue hermoso y de calidad, sino necesario, escucharnos la una a la otra, recordar a viejas amistades en com煤n, hablar de nuestros proyectos, nos ayud贸 a reforzar nuestra amistad, a acercarnos a煤n m谩s.
Vicky is a very grounded and down-to-earth person, but at the same time very spiritual. She's one of those radiant souls who, after just five minutes of conversation, can lift your spirits and fill you with faith and optimism. She taught me that not all siblings are born from the same womb or into the same family, because their bond isn't strengthened by blood but by the heart. That's why I love her so much and wish her all the best.
Vicky es una persona muy centrada, con los pies bien puestos sobre la tierra, pero al mismo tiempo muy espiritual, es de esos seres llenos de luz que con tan solo hablar con ella cinco minutos cambian tu estado de 谩nimo y te llenan de fe y optimismo. Ella me ense帽贸 que no todos los hermanos nacen del mismo vientre ni dentro de la misma familia, porque son hermanos cuyos lazos no los consolida la sangre sino el coraz贸n, por eso la quiero much铆simo y le deseo lo mejor del mundo.
Thank you so much for reading and allowing me to share my joy with you. This reunion was emotional and, above all, enriching for both of us. One of the greatest treasures we have is friendship; of that I am absolutely certain.
