Hello, Hivers around the world. Happy Sunday. I hope you’re finishing up your rest this weekend. I wanted to tell you that this weekend I saw a friend who came from Spain—I hadn’t seen her in about a year.
And our friendship feels just the same. She came to spend a month here, so we have to make the most of our time together.
Her parents threw a barbecue for her birthday, and I went with Diego. I hadn’t been to her house in about five years. So I’d even forgotten the way there, since it’s outside the city.
It took us about 20 minutes to get there, and we used Maps to find our way. I was surprised that when we arrived, we were the first to be invited in. That gave me a chance to spend more time with my friend.
Our friendship feels just as strong as ever. We’ve known each other since school, and nothing has changed—except our lives. She now has a stable life in Spain, while I, on the other hand, stayed here.
The meat was delicious, not to mention the spicy chorizos. We had an incredible time and really enjoyed her birthday.

Hola Hivers del mundo. Feliz Domingo. Espero que terminen de descansar este fin de semana. Les cuento, que este fin de semana ví a una amiga que llegó de España y tenía aproximadamente 1 año sin ver.
Y nuestra amistad se siente igual. Ella vino a pasar un mes aquí, así que tenemos que aprovechar el tiempo al máximo.
Sus papás le hicieron una parrillada por su cumpleaños y yo fui con Diego. Tenía que no iba a su casa como 5 años. Así que hasta ya se me había olvidado el camino a su casa, ya que es fuera de la ciudad.
Tardamos como 20 minutos en llegar y nos apoyamos con maps para llegar. Me sorprendió que llegamos y fuimos los primeros invitamos. Eso me permitió compartir más con mi amiga.
Nuestra amistad se siente intacta. Nos conocemos desde el colegio y nada ha cambiado. Solo nuestras vidas. Ella ya tiene una vida estable en España y yo por lo contrario me quedé aquí.
La carne estaba deliciosa y ni hablar de los chorizos picantes. La pasamos increíble y disfrutamos de su cumpleaños.
