Friend's bar [ENG-ESP]

My friends and I usually get together once a year, but this time we decided to do something different. Some of us have known each other for 5 years and others for 10, but we all love each other just as much. Over time, due to work commitments and the fact that we’re studying different majors, our chances to see each other have become fewer and fewer. It’s usually something that happens once a year (typically in December), but this time we wanted to get together one more time, even if it wasn’t the whole group.

Mis amigas y yo nos vemos una vez al año, pero esta vez decidimos que sería diferente. Algunas nos conocemos desde hace 5 años y otras desde hace 10 pero todas nos queremos por igual, con el paso del tiempo por cuestiones de trabajo y de que estudiamos carreras distintas las oportunidades para vernos han sido cada vez menos, generalmente es algo que pasa una vez al año (normalmente en diciembre) pero esta vez quisimos vernos una vez más así no fuera el grupo completo.

We planned to go to a bar, and it was great—the people were really friendly, there were hardly any other customers, so we practically had the whole place to ourselves, the food was delicious, and they let us sing karaoke. We’re trying to make plans to get together more often, even if the group isn’t complete again. I hope it works out because I really have a great time with my friends, and having friendships that last this long is something I don’t see much in other people these days, so I appreciate it even more.

Planeamos ir a un bar y genial, las personas eran muy amables, no había casi gente así que prácticamente todo el local estaba para nosotras, la comida era muy rica y nos dejaron hacer karoke. Estamos tratando de organizarnos para vernos más seguido así sea con el grupo incompleto otra vez, espero que si sea posible porque de verdad la paso muy bien con mis amigas, y el tener amistades tan duraderas es algo que no veo mucho en otras personas hoy en día asíque lo apreció aún más.
