Today I want to take you along with me to a beautiful place I discovered in the middle of the city—well, not exactly my own city, but a neighboring one called Naguanagua. It’s a lovely botanical garden spanning approximately 15 hectares, featuring a beautiful ecosystem. I decided to visit it with my sister to see if it was truly as lovely as people claimed. I recall visiting once before, but that was for a concert; it was very crowded, and I was focused entirely on the performer, so I didn’t get to explore the entire grounds.
Hoy quiero llevarlos conmigo a un lugar precioso que encontré en medio de la ciudad, no es propiamente mi ciudad sino una ciudad vecina a la mía llamada "NaguaNagua" se tratade un jardín botánico precioso con una extensión de 15 héctareas aproximadamente, un ecosistema precioso, así que decidí ir a verlo con mi hermana para ver si era tan bonito como decía la gente. Recuerdo que en una ocasión yo lo visité pero era para un concierto entonces había mucha gente y yo slo me dediqué a ver al cantante, no hice el recorrido completo por toda la extensión del lugar.
At the entrance to the park, there is a sign listing all the prohibitions—for example, no drinking alcohol, no smoking, no bringing pets (as there may be plants that are toxic to them), and no playing loud music; in short, the basics.
Al inicio del parque hay un cartel con todas las prohibicione com por ejemplo no beber alcohol fumar, no llevar macotas (ya que puede haber plantas tóxicas para ellos) no llevar música a alto volumen, en fin, cosas básicas.
It features beautiful spaces with a very rich and varied ecosystem; there are wooded areas where trees grow close together, as well as spots like this one, where the trees form a fascinating natural tunnel that lends a bohemian touch. The only downside is that the Olympic Village lies right next door, and the specific area bordering the garden is abandoned—it looks quite grim and is even a bit unsettling—but the landscape as a whole is truly stunning. There are also sections with a jungle-like ecosystem, complete with reeds and hanging vines.
Tiene espacios preciosos con un ecosistema muy rico y variado, hay zonas boscosas con árboles que crecen juntos y también hay zonas como esta donde los arboles de alguna manera forman una especie de túnel natural muy interesante que leda un toque bohemio. Lo único que no me gustó es que justo al lado está la villa olímpica y esa zona específica que colinda con el jardín está abandonada y se ve muy tétrica, incluso genera incomodidad pero el paisaje en general está bellísimo. También hay zonas con un ecosistema selvático con juncos y lianas colgantes.
All the plants are clearly labeled with fascinating information; each one has a sign with a QR code that you can easily use to learn more about them.
Todas las plantas están debidamente señaladas con información interesantísima sobre ellas, tienen un cartel con un código QR que sirve perfectamente para sepas más sobre ellas.
Right at the entrance, there is a nursery that sells some of the species found within the garden grounds—mostly flowers and ornamental plants, though they also offer roots and spices. There is also an information office housed in an old colonial-style building; the entire site was established back in the early 20th century.
Justo en la entrada hay un vivero en el cuál venden algunas de las especies que se pueden encontrar en las instalaciones del jardín, la mayoría flores y plantas ornamentales, pero también venden raíces y especias. También tienen unas oficinas de información que funcionan en una antigua casa de estilo colonial, ya que todo este lugar se inauguró por allá a principios del siglo XX
An air of profound peace and tranquility permeates the place; it is a magical setting that invites introspection—perfect for reconnecting with your true self. It’s no wonder that yoga sessions are held there on weekends, as it is an ideal space for fostering a wonderful connection with God, nature, and one’s own inner being. You might also encounter colorful butterflies and hear the songs of birds that accompany you throughout your visit. While I don’t typically enjoy spending much time outdoors, I do like to engage in activities like this every now and then.
Allí se respira un aire de paz y tranquilidad impresionante, es un lugar mágico que invita a la introspección, perfecto para reencontrarte con tu esencia, con razón los fines de semana se realizan sesiones de yoga allí porque es ideal para tener una conexión maravillosa con Dios, con la naturaleza y contigo mismo, también es posible hayar mariposas de múltiples colores y escuchar el canto de las aves que nos acompañan durante todo el recorrido. Normalmente yo no disfruto mucho de estar al aire libre pero de vez en cuando me gusta hacer este tipo de actividades.
