An exclusive tutorial for exchanges to help them power down their users' funds.
Binance, Huobi, and Poloniex teamed up with Tron to participate in the takeover of Steem blockchain. As a result, exchanges knowingly locked their users' funds.
Here is the step by step tutorial to power down funds.
I will cover 3 options here:
Click on the Login button:
Log in using your master password (or active key):
You will see your wallet page after a successful login:
Click on the little arrow beside your available Steem power and click on Power down:
Congratulations! The first portion of your funds will be unlocked after 7 days.
Click on the Login button:
Click on Steemconnect:
Click on "Continue" then log in with your master password or active key.
You will be redirected to the steempeak.com. Select "wallet" from the menu:
Then select power down:
Fill the input and click on the "Continue":
Then you can complete the transaction on steemconnect in the same way you logged in.
Congratulations! The first portion of your funds will be unlocked after 7 days.
Available for Windows, Mac and Linux users.
After importing your accounts to the wallet, move to the "Vesting" tab and click on "Power down":
Click on the "Begin power down":
