For this challenge I'm sharing the stats page because I don't even own one Grumpy Dwarf. Did that stop me from taking part in this battle challenge? No way! And I didn't even have to rent him because he's a starter card. Since I am being pretty honest here, another piece of honesty is that I probably haven't used the Grumpy Dwarf since back when I started playing Splinterlands. He just never struck me as the most useful card.

Market Check

His circulation numbers are lower than similarly priced cards and frankly he isn't too pricey but unless you can routinely use him at level 5 for his Enrage ability he might just be a bit too case specific. On the other hand, he is a Beta which are worth more SPS, more card power, etc. Anyhow, no one came here for financial advice and frankly, I'm not giving any so...

We Want a Fight!

Here is My Battle. It's a doozy. First off, this was one of the wins I needed for my daily quest. Second, I used the Grumpy fricken Dwarf.

League: Gold
Rating:
Ruleset: Earthquake and Equalizer (not great for Earthquake but his best use case imho is Equalizer)
Mana: 17
Splinters: All but water and earth

How it started:

Looking at this starting lineup I'm a bit concerned. That Living Lava tank is not really too phased by my lineup. Also, I could have had a better lineup if my Zaku was a lvl 2 so I just need to scrounge up like $300 to fix that. Anyhow.

How it's going:

Look at him, so cute when he's getting testy. He survived 2 full rounds only to get taken down by the Earthquake damage at the start of round 3. He did manage to outlast my tank as well as my opponent's position 2 and 3 cards. Not bad.

How it ended:

A key miss and a flying monster were all that stood between me and a big fat L.

LOVE HIM OR HATE HIM

Ultimately I don't have much nice to say about this card. I don't see a lot of use cases for him and rarely play him. That is all.
