Unboxed my new Pixel 2 today and thought some of you would want to hear about it as you might be making the decision to get your own this holiday season.
What lies in side?????
I thought that the packaging was fairly economical with not too much waste at all. Had pamphlets for their phone service Fi in the box along with some quick FAQ about features of the phone such as the always on song recognition and squeeze to activate voice commands.
The phone itself is a beauty.
I made the mistake of buying a headphone jack converter (from usb-c) without realizing that it comes with one in the box. Derrrrr. Well, at least if I lose it I will have a back up. It also comes with a connector cable to transfer data from your previous phone. The data transfer took me 10 minutes for 8gb of videos and messages.
Of course it comes with a USB-C to wall outlet charger that works like a charm and charges the phone to full from 10% in about an hour or so.
Here are the extras I bought. I ended up returning the screen protector because there was a loud clicking sound at the edges that I couldn't get to go away no matter how I positioned it. Google was great about the return and the people I spoke to were very knowledgeable about the phone.
