Hello everyone! I welcome you to the 137th week on the HiveopenMic Weekly musical celebration. I am very glad and honoured to be participating in this week's contest.
This week, we are presented with a very nice and timely theme of Healing.
Apart from medical sickness, we experience from time to time different traumatic experiences that hurt us emotionally or psychologically, leaving us frustrated. Sometimes we transfer these frustration on people around us and they also continue that chain of transfer of frustration, hence making the world a place of hate and spite.
All these mean that we are in need of internal healing and as we know, for healing to take place, there is a need for a therapeutic agent. In the medical field, the therapeutic agent is medicine, but in emotional and psychological sickness, the therapeutic agent we need is definitely Love
With the right amount of love, we can first of all learn to heal ourselves first. When we are healed, when we become hale and hearty in our emotional states then we can be better positioned to heal the world around us.
So in response to the theme of this week, I will present the legendary song of the legend, Michael Jackson titled, Heal the world
A song that suggests love as a healing agent.
NB I took time to score all the melodies of the song and I played it with my acoustic guitar, adding the chords simultaneously.
