Hello everyone, I am glad to be here again for another week of Hive Open Mic. This week 332, the theme is Synergy and the song I will be presenting is Rahama by Kaestrings. I really love this song because it is a song I can connect with personally, especially when I think about God's mercy and the place He has in my life.
The word Rahama means mercy. The song is like a cry from someone who knows that God is the only one who can truly help him. The Hausa part says, “Yesu, Mai Rahama,” meaning Jesus, the merciful one. It also says, “Ban da wani sai Kai,” which means “I have no one but You.” Those words really touch me because they remind me that there are times when we have to put everything aside and depend on God completely.
For me, the theme Synergy connects with this song because it reminds me of how our faith and God's presence can work together. When we open our hearts to God, trust Him, and seek Him sincerely, we begin to experience His strength in our lives. We cannot do everything by ourselves. We need God, and our relationship with Him becomes stronger when we keep coming to Him.
I also enjoy the melody of this song. It has a calm and emotional sound that makes me want to sing it slowly and mean every word. The Hausa part makes it even more special to me because it gives the song a personal feeling.
This song has taught me that it is okay to come before God with our tears, prayers, and weaknesses. We don't always have to pretend that everything is fine. We can come just as we are and ask Him for His touch and mercy.
I chose Rahama because it is a song that speaks from the heart. I hope my presentation touches someone and reminds you that God's mercy is always there for us.
Thank you for listening.🎵❤️
Lyrics
Rahama (Live) - Kaestrings
...
O Lord
My God
All that i want
Is Your touch
My faith
Is heightened
On this mountain
To drink from your love
oh oh oh oh
Yesu, Mai Rahama
(Jesus, the merciful one)
Ji addua ta
(Hear my prayer)
Ban da wani sai Kai
(i have no one but you)
Yesu, Mai Rahama
(Jesus, the merciful one)
Ga hawaye na
(here is my cry)
Ban da wani sai Kai
(I have no one but you)
