Good morning my lovely one's. How are you all doing today? I am happy to be here once more
When harmful substances like garbage, chemicals, or waste enter water sources like rivers, lakes, oceans, or underground water, this results in water pollution. These harmful substances originate from numerous sources, including factories, farms, drains in our homes, and even the air. Once they enter the water, they blend in and spread, making it unsafe for swimming, cooking, drinking, and fish and other animal life. The fact that sometimes the water appears to be clean despite having hidden germs or chemicals that can sicken people is what scares people about water pollution.
Water pollution is caused by everyday activities without our awareness. Rain can wash pesticides and fertilizers used by farmers into nearby streams. In order to dispose of waste, factories may pour oil or dirty water into rivers. If city drains are not cleaned, all kinds of dirt, including plastic, trash, and oil from cars, end up in the drains that lead to rivers. Even when people flush medicines or pour paint and grease down the sink, those things end up in the water system. Once this polluted water reaches larger water bodies, it can cause fish to die, water plants to rot, and people to fall ill with diseases like diarrhea, typhoid, or skin infections.

The pollution gets worse over time and is harder to get rid of. For example, extra nutrients from fertilizers can cause too much algae to grow. These algae use up the oxygen in the water, making it impossible for fish or other animals to survive. This results in "dead zones," where life ceases to exist. Everyone needs clean water, and when it gets polluted, our health, our food, and the environment all start to suffer. Because of this, everyone needs to exercise caution and safeguard our water, even through seemingly insignificant daily actions.
