Samsung electronic starting their new project in bitcoin mining.They had made foundry agreement with well known China's bitcoin mining hardware company ,they started their mass production in January 2018

Samsung has completed the production of making semiconductor Asic hardware last year and the mass production started in january.

Samsung has designed this Asic hard ware which is optimised for bitcoin mining

The companies who do bitcoin mining in large scale had involved this acis hardware into their mining opertaion.

Well GPU is an early mining method ,installing 10 graphic cards into 1 mining hardware but from 2013 Asic is mostly used for mining as we know Bitmain is one of the largest mining company globally and it will be a tough competition for Samsung.
