The rapid increase in bitcoin's price is also due to a high demand in Zimbabwe, where Bitcoin is being sold at $10,000. The need in Zimbabwe is a result of lack of facility to buy things and bitcoin has come to the rescue of people. People are choosing bitcoin over traditional money as they don't want to get failed.
Bitcoin has also seen a slight decrease this week, but it does not look in a mood to go down. Analysts across the world have predicted Bitcoin's price to touch $25,000 by the end of 2018.
