Today I sent out my latest substack newsletter, titled 'Baseline Cognitive Warfare.' It gets into mind control in history and in the modern day. It also looks at the intelligence of the body and the importance of somatic intuition in uninstalling control regime programming. The piece ends on the question of what to do about the Flat Earth problem, which is to say the problem of belief structures that are impervious to contradictory evidence no matter how compelling that evidence may be.
Not counting my intro, this is the fifth Substack newsletter I've sent out in as many weeks. So far I feel like I've been mostly laying groundwork for my ideas regarding what to do about societal problems. Some of these ideas are extremely controversial, and I'm hoping that providing lots of context before presenting them will somehow help with that.
My most radical idea is that we should start behaving sensibly, in light of everything we now know. Although this sounds like the kind of thing that nearly everyone would agree with, almost no one seems to be seriously considering this as an option. Our control regime has convinced society at large that all of the completely insane things comprising the status quo are necessary, good, and reasonable.
We should of course try to persuade people to behave more sensibly. But this isn't so much a plan as a socially obligatory endeavor, doomed to failure outside of exceptional circumstances. To my way of thinking, that leaves two paths forward. The production of exceptional circumstances and the creation of a more sensible alternative culture.
My thoughts on creating exceptional circumstances are vague. One thing I keep coming back to is the power of dissatisfaction. Not too many people were satisfied with tallow candles once they realized electric lights were a thing. Today, with off-the-shelf tech, we could just as thoroughly adopt equitable collaborations over the economics of exploitation that support the legacy system. Once people get a taste of fair work, the appeal of the old way will wane.
The great covid deception sliced right through traditional alt culture. Identity politics further divided society. There's clearly a need for a more sensible alternative culture. There are also new technologies available that make it possible for such a culture to include its own financial infrastructure and communication networks.
Getting from here to there would require overcoming the atomization imposed on our population by the control regime. This might mean anything from adopting countermeasures for social media's atomizing algorithms to reclaiming public spaces for public use. It may also require us to accommodate each other in new ways.
Calling for a more sensible world while admitting that most of society appears incapable of bringing one about is naturally problematic. And many people act like they believe that the government and large corporations should decide what is sensible. But this decision belongs to individuals. To families and communities. To us.
