A form of leather hat is made from the skin of a black lamb called Qara Qol, which is curly and sparsely woolly. Qara Qul is the name of a generation of sheep that has good skin and the hair of this sheep is in the shape of a ring.
Similar hats are found in Afghanistan, Azerbaijan, Turkey, Iran, Russia, Uzbekistan, Tajikistan, Turkmenistan and all Central Asian countries, each of which represents the culture of that nation.
