Watching World Cup With Guinness

Who do you think will win?

Regardless of who you are supporting, some of us here can agree that the best way to enjoy the world cup is with beer!

I have been holding myself back from drinking for a week now and only today while doing groceries with mom, I eventually picked Guinness. Today I spotted they added a new product, Guinness smooth and that's what I am having right now as I watch the final worldcup match between France and Argentina.

If you ask me who am I supporting? anything but France. I was supporting Croatia but now, Argentina seems to be the only one that plays well and most likely winning as well.

I noticed that Guinness smooth had more foam than usual when I opened it. I added some ice cube because I hate warm beer. I think warm beer is abominable but the weather currently can make cold beer into warm beer in the matter of second. It's really that hot today.

I really enjoy the lighter taste of Guinness Smooth compared to regular Guinness. In the past, I've made a Guinness affogato by adding a shot of espresso and a scoop of ice cream to regular Guinness, and it was delicious. Now that I've tried Guinness Smooth, I think it would make an even better affogato. I'm definitely going to have to try recreating the recipe.

I recall seeing this Guinness in the bottle form as well. Personally, I prefer cans over bottles for beer because they are easier to dispose. I generally prefer to have my beer in cans and my liquors in bottles.
