The perks of arriving early is getting to know the area and places around. We talked to locals, enjoyed the beer by the beach, and even talked to some officials of the place. However, the extreme heat hindered us from exploring the area. Mostly, we have a problem with transportation as we can’t get around without a motorbike in this area and everything is already sold off. Our only means of moving is basically walking from one place to another. But since we stayed closer near the hot spot, we get to move around places easily and have an easier time finding food. Lombok is truly amazing. I would want to visit once more and my experience today has changed my views about the place. Maybe after all, there’s some lesson learned from the place. The pictures I took are from around Kuta Mandalika beach. Along the lines there are many beaches with similar views but differ in terms of waves.
