The other week, I have talked about Cold Brew and a product from Gambino, a company specialized in cold brews. This time, I am reviewing their Irish Latte and made a mix match with their white coffee variant.
I have been eyeing this particular taste for a while now. But only today I get the chance to try this variant. I choose this variant because I like Irish Latte and I think they have pretty interesting aftertaste which I will review in detail below.
There are two variants of cold brew sold at the supermarket. The Original brew and Irish Latte. As seen on the sticker it said, 21 hours cold brewed process. I like the choice of color from the sticker. I think that's simple and gives off a hipster vibe. I mean,hipsters were really into cold brews before it was a thing.
Below the line at the end of the sticker, it claimed that it is perfectly balance, smooth, and triple filtered. But is it really smooth as it claimed?

I really like the bottle as it gives expensive and polished look. It was also quite reasonable to get this cold-brew. This is the ultimate lazy iced coffee and money-saving. I mean, compared to buying it fresh from a cafe, this is a life-saving hack.
On the back of the bottle, there are dietary information, ingredient list, expiry date and also a small descriptive text about the brewing process. For this type of coffee, it's always best to serve it extra chilled. So, I was putting a lot of icecubes into my small round glass. The glass that I have is intended for iced coffee and dalgona. I like to drink iced coffee when it is hot during the day/night. So, this cold brew is also great such day and when you're trying to get some things done.
This Irish latte tastes quite smooth as advertised. There were no coffee grounds and it was fine filtered. However, I can not really tell the difference between palm sugar latte and this Irish Latte. However, I noticed a slight stout aftertaste. My taste buds could be wrong but that is what I tasted after sipping that. Compared to the white coffee variant, this was a smooth experience and less jitters. I can drink them in one glass quite easily. I think this Irish Latte will be my next favorite cold brew that I can enjoy at home while working.
Since I still have some left from the white coffee variant that I got last week, I was wondering what would be the taste when it is combined with Irish latte. It turns out to be the most interesting combination I've had in a while. The overall taste is smooth with a bit of mint aftertaste and the smell of cheap whiskey 馃槀 I don't know why I associate the smell with that. Maybe I crave a bottle of it? but that's the smell I get from drinking that.
I enjoy drinking the mixture which gives me smooth energy in comparison to only drinking the white coffee variant that I can't finish in one serving. Anyhow, this mixture was interesting to say the least. I suggest you try some if you can get this variant of coffee.
