Are you complaining? In despair? Depressed? Actually not so bad? Good. It means you are at least still around. Look, no one said anything about that this will be easy. Changing the world is always a whole process of back and forth. Pushing forward and setbacks. Highs, lows and complete fucking bottom. However, if you are reading this, you are still here and it means exactly what I hoped for. You are hooked to the other side of the coin too - us, human beings of Steem, the community.
We can trade coins, but are you willing to trade friendships, the most awesome projects, ideas and knowledge shared and learned here? Should I panic for all the time I’ve invested in Steem and the fact that my tiny, collected stake is not even a half of it in dollars right now?
No. In fact it is pretty chill here. It has been pretty chill ever since I got here with no expectations other than oh it seems like a place of awesome people. I’ve been wishing to find something like this for a long, long time. Where else you will be able to observe people actually sharing parts of their worlds that usually remain hidden? Where else you can observe human behavior in full spectrum as if you would look at it through magnifying glass? Where else you can think of something, get together and work towards accomplishing things with other people from all around the world with different skills and expertise? How freaking cool is this thing?
So bear got us. Does it keep us from doing what we are here to do? Is it stopping us from earning Steem? Not really. Simply stop looking at the price in dollars or even better stop looking at Steem as something that brings you money if you can’t handle the market fluctuations. Keep doing what you were going to do anyway and I really hope to see you around on the chain both through highs and lows ^^
