Hello #HIVE fam! This is my first post in the Photography Lovers community, I hope it fits well. I'm no pro behind the lens, yet one of my passions in life is taking pics wherever I go. I'm always looking to improve my skills. I never edit my photos, I try and get cool shots with the natural lights around me.

Today's pictures are not very artsy, (it was a grey day) the photos are of a hike I went on with my sons this week to our 'secret beach'. We're lucky to live in rural Nova Scotia, especially during these times. There are plenty of places we can escape into the solitude of nature and get the best vitamin there is, Vitamin SEA 🤓

This is one of my favourite parts of the trail. The trees are so spooky here (even in the summer), yet there is a warm feeling at the same time.

Eddie & Stryder always way ahead of Kiedis and I 😂 They stop once in a while and let us catch up.

We had a hurricane in September, it felled a lot of trees...

There were trees down everywhere, yet this was the healthiest one I saw. That's a tree top, sideways.

At the Beach

Did you learn how to skip rocks as a child? Is any childhood complete without trying this skill 😄

Stryder and Eddie skipped rocks practically the whole time we were there.

Kiedis is more into collecting rocks than skipping them. Shells too 😊 of course.

You can pretend these ones are fingers!

The fingers fall off really easily though...

Heron Power

This guy was flying all around through the afternoon, ducking my shots at every turn LOL! Every time I would see him, I'd try and focus my camera and he'd already be behind a tree. I managed to get one semi-clear picture...
