Individuals who have learning difficulties usually have normal intelligence, but some factors prevent achieving good school performance.
In many cases they struggle even harder than their classmates, yet their grades remain low. What directly impacts their self-esteem and sometimes does not want to continue attending school.
A learning difficulty can occur due to different causes: genetic factors, neurophysiological disorders, deficient nutrition or a poorly stimulating parenting environment.
Likewise pre, peri and postnatal problems can be generated. For example: diseases and deficiency in the adequate consumption of vitamins and minerals during pregnancy, very old age of the parents to procreate, among others.
People with learning difficulties may have problems fixing their attention, processing information, speaking, reading, writing, performing mathematical calculations, memorizing, socializing and emotional immaturity.
